It is literally a one-button coffee maker that makes one mug of coffee, makes it in about two minutes from cold (36 degrees filtered refrigerator water), and makes it very hot (182 degrees in the cup)! Opening it to put in a k-cup turns it on and it turns itself off after a couple of minutes.
